How the meter works
Your Tier 1 price is set by how many contacts you keep in ValuesCart, on the same ladder Givebutter uses for its Plus plan — so you can compare apples to apples. The number is a pricing meter, not a limit: contacts and email blasts stay unlimited (fair use) at every tier, including Free.

Pricing questions
Really free — $0/month, forever, with unlimited contacts and unlimited (fair use) email, no credit card required. ValuesCart is a nonprofit; the Free tier is our mission, and the paid tiers are how we sustain it.
Nothing breaks. Contact count is a pricing meter, not a cap — you'll simply move to the next band ($79/mo up to 1,000, $129/mo up to 2,500, scaling from there). You keep every contact and every feature the whole time.
Tier 2 is a $299/month bonus layer added on top of your Tier 1 price, on the same contact band. It adds VC Smile, automated receipts, enhanced purchase tracking, QuickBooks, contact confirmations, direct mail (coming soon), task management (coming soon), and priority phone & text support.
VC Smile is our replacement for AmazonSmile: 0.5% of your members' eligible purchases goes to your organization. Eligibility begins at 100 member purchases per month — the reporting threshold set by Amazon — and it's included with Tier 2.
Our donate button (in development) is being built so the charity and the donor participate in choosing who covers processing — rather than the platform deciding for you.
